Learning trips can be life changing. Come alongside us to experience firsthand the face of childhood disability in a developing country. Don’t misunderstand the purpose of these trips, however. They are not for the purpose of leisure. When offered, each is an opportunity for you to roll up your sleeves with the Wheelchair Angels International team and its partners to provide our Littlest Angels with a transforming gift of mobility.
Learning Trip participants understand their role as servants and fully welcome the opportunity to be of service to kids and families in dire need. It is an experience that will no doubt change your perspectives on poverty, disability, humanity-at-large, and perhaps even, yourself.
Learning Team Members Must Be:
- Passionate and service-minded individuals who are willing to “roll up their sleeves"
- 21 years of age or older
- Able to produce a valid passport with an expiration date of at least 6 months following your return to the U.S.
- Self-funded (approximately $3,000).
